D2 was a wonderful company to work with and made what is typically a complicated and stressful process much easier to manage (and definitely more enjoyable). We renovated our kitchen and bathroom, and Minzy & team were always on top of everything and kept us in the loop without us having to be physically around all the time. They were always communicative and helped keep things on schedule. One of the contracting teams they brought in as an option to take on our project ended up being wonderful and a pleasure to work with, and Minzy had a great relationship with them. In the end, they kept everything on schedule and did an amazing job. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen and bathroom!! Highly recommend the D2 team for NYC renovations.

The D2 team were great to work with on a gut remodel of my bathroom. I was particularly happy with the way they fit a few pieces I wanted to keep into the entirely new design. They offered thoughtful options, managed minor problems like an out of stock handle effectively and efficiently, and the work was done meticulously and cleanly. I am delighted with the result.

The team at D2 Design & Works did a magnificent job in transforming our outdated kitchenette—with its rusting metal cabinet, cracked pedestal sink and makeshift countertops—into a modern kitchen, with a handsome, continuous Caesarstone countertop and backsplash.

A single general contractor, who himself did some wonderfully creative carpentry, worked smoothly with plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers, plasterers and stone cutters to accomplish the transformation without any significant delays. Cost-saving approaches were used whenever possible: For example, rather than resorting to custom-made cabinets to get through an unusually narrow entrance to the kitchen, standard-sized cabinets were disassembled, brought into the kitchen and then reassembled.

They did a fantastic gut renovation in my kitchen and were Uber professionals! Would hire them again without reservation.

We used D2 for a gut bathroom renovation. Minzy and the rest of the D2 team were wonderful: extremely responsive, flexible, patient and detail oriented. D2 Design and Works didn't disappoint me; in fact, they were beyond my expectations during the renovation of my kitchen and 3 bathrooms. Jade was smart enough to know exactly what I wanted even if my explanations were not enough. The responses were very immediate, which made the renovation finish in time, and the results were excellent. My kitchen and bathrooms are now shiny and beautiful! I cannot speak more highly about Jade and her staff at D2 Design. I have worked with a number of designers and contractors over the course of a number of home renovations and can say that she was unequivocally the best. She has a wonderful sense of design and practicality, is honest and does not oversell, very reliable with delivery and follow up and simply makes for a very fluid experience. Trust me that any renovation has its headaches but with Jade I had the benefit of her knowledge and experience and she made it a pleasure. We found Jade by chance when we were at the AD Design show and met with Plain and Fancy cabinet makers. They gave us her name and said she was one of their best. They were true to their word.
